Workshop
This session will focus on Inclusive Customer Service — exploring how equity, empathy, and awareness can shape stronger guest experiences. Participants will learn to recognize and navigate diverse guest identities, apply practical communication and de-escalation techniques, and build confidence in creating spaces where every visitor feels valued and welcome.

Event & Venue Support
Step behind the scenes of weddings, meetings, and community events to learn how great guest experiences are built. This hands-on session covers venue prep and teardown, load-in/load-out, basic A/V and lighting checks, vendor and volunteer coordination etc.

Tourism Ambassadorship
This session explores how to weave local history, culture, and personality into everyday interactions. Participants will experience a walking tour around Port Townsend with Kelsey Caudebec of Jefferson County Historical Society and learn techniques that connect guests to our place, learn how to highlight hidden gems with confidence, and discover ways to be an authentic ambassador no matter their job title.
